Professor of Anesthesiology Dr. Samsun Lampotang sat down with reporter Olana Osborn for TV20 News’ Tech Tuesday feature to discuss the medical simulators at the Center for Safety, Simulation & Advanced Learning Technologies (CSSALT) and how they have saved lives.
Dr. Lampotang told Osborn, “With a simulator, we can make the experience something at will, so that should they encounter it in real life, they will see that pattern and they will remember, ‘I’ve seen this before,’ and they will initiate the appropriate response, pretty much automatically.”
