Bird Ventilator

Has anyone looked at the Bird Mark 7 ventilator for inspiration?
We have as a society designed this in the past. Let’s not reinvent the wheel when we don’t have to.

I’m studying Forrest M. Bird’s Patents for the the Bird Ventilators to see what we can learn.

He has a number of teams already going, and, if I remember correctly, there is a team looking at Bird ventilators.

This was one of my first thoughts as well, then on second thought I realized that the Bird Mark 7’s design is very ‘plastic’, as opposed to ‘electronic’, it does, however, utilize a lot of custom molded components and pressure gauges, values, etc. Creating supply chain issues.
I used to work for Bird Medical creating electronic vents, after Forest Bird sold the company.
